MIP encourages games and sports. In the sprawling campus of the college, there are Separate Playgrounds for Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball& Badminton. Both Indoor & Outdoor games are given equal emphasis. MIP conducts football, cricket, badminton  and volleyball tournament at regular intervals. ‘Mallabhum Premier League’ (MPL), ‘Lakshmi Narayan Memorial Cricket Cup’, ‘Lakshmi Narayan Memorial Football Cup’ , ‘Lakshmi Narayan Memorial BadmintonCup’are some of the prestigious tournaments, arranged by the students of the Institute. The successful students-sportsmen are awarded by the Institute.
